Skin Deep Confidence is owned by Andrea Aitken-Paige. Having worked in the financial industry for many years, Andrea decided to make her life a little easier in the mornings by having a Semi-Permanent Make-Up procedure so that she would be 'made up when she woke up'. Completely fascinated by the range of cosmetic and medical procedures that could be undertaken and the difference it could make to the confidence of individuals, Andrea decided to change career.
She has since trained with Finishing Touches, market leaders in Micropigmentation and appointed lecturers to BABTAC - The British Association of Beauty Therapy And Cosmetology.
Finishing Touches are the largest independent micropigmentation trainers in the UK. They train technicians and staff in leading stores including Harrods, Selfridges, Dickens & Jones, Harvey Nicholls, Fenwicks, Rackhams, Bentalls, House of Frasier, Jenners, and medical staff at hospitals including the Royal Marsden, Addenbrookes and Stoke Mandeville.
Andrea has completed training for both the cosmetic and medical procedures and is committed to achieving the highest standards in micropigmentation and keeping up to date with the very latest innovations and techniques.
Andrea has enjoyed the benefits of each of the cosmetic treatments and has undergone medical scar reduction and tattoo removal herself and as a result is able to offer advice and guidance based on her own personal experience as well as her own expertise.
